Avieon is a silicon-proven IP company based on the architectural breakthroughs by a team of skilled Architects. The company develops and sells breakthrough multi-media and wireless signal processors that handle compute-intensive video & wireless tasks at very low-power levels with high scalability. Target applications range from cell phones to the highest-quality HDTV. The company has targeted portable video and wireless applications for initial market entry, including, e.g. TV-on-mobile and software defined radio (SDR). Avieon’s patent-pending dataflow multi-media signal processor, the Neuron MSP, has a unique SIDO (same instruction, different operation) architecture particularly useful for video and wireless applications.
This is a venture and an adventure which has a great future, as we create the new model for Embedded System design in Pakistan.

Job Description: Design, develop and test software modules and applications that manipulate H264, VC1, MPEG1, MPEG2 and MPEG4 based video and audio streams.
Experience: 2-3 years of direct coding experience with H264, VC1, MPEG1, MPEG2 or MPEG4 data structures for audio and video parsing, decoding, real time delivery constraints using C, C++.
Fresh Graduates: Fresh graduates with projects related to the specifications (C/Linux/Embedded Systems/ Real Time) are encouraged to apply.
Internships: Under-graduate students interested to gain experience as internee shall also apply.
Required Skills
• The applicant should have a good idea about object-oriented programming and can understand and re-code programs written for different platforms.
• Knowledge of low level programming in C and assembly language.
Additional Skills Programming experiences with real-time operating systems, Linux operating system, DMA device drivers and embedded system design.
Required Qualifications: The candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Computer -Science / Engineering discipline.
