We are looking for an exceptionally qualified System Administrator to manage our environment of Microsoft Windows 2003 servers, Windows XP clients, Active Directory, IIS and SQL Server. Experience working with switches, routers (preferably Cisco) and firewalls is highly desired. The person will also be responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations, troubleshooting and configuring Microsoft Windows based machines and servers.
Above all, the ideal candidate would have an aggressive “Can Do” attitude who can work on many tasks simultaneously. Ability to work well with other and win the confidence of other team members is very very critical in this position.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
· Build, maintain, upgrade and administer email servers, domain controllers
and all other Windows server-class machines.
· Administer backup software, Symantec/McAfee virus protection, remote
access, and Windows security & critical updates.
· Provide technical support including remote desktop support and helpdesk
issues.
· Manage and adapt procedures and processes as business requirements change.
Required Skills
· 3 to 5 years of previous Windows 200X/NT Systems Administration.
· Experience with Win9x, WinNT, WinXP, TCP/IP, DHCP, Active Directory, and
RAS.
· Experience running a production environment at a mid to large institution,
Bank or ISP.
· Experience managing a network including internet connectivity through
DSL/Cable modems
· A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
equivalent
Highly Desired Skills (but not required): The following skills are highly desired but not required.
· Design, Installation and Management of a large (200+ users) deployment of
Microsoft Exchange environment at an ISP, Bank or other major institution.
· Thorough knowledge of one or more of Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000 or 2003,
Windows 2000/2003 Server and Active directory.
· MCSE 2000 certified.

Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced deadline driven environment with changing needs and requirements.
